4.1 The Display
The display consists of two lines, each having 24 characters.
The first line serves as a title line in which the current method and
the sample counter reading are displayed. In edit mode the menu
title is shown.
The second line serves as a status line which displays specific ac-
tivities depending on the operating state. In edit mode it serves as
an entry line.
