2.7 - OCP 42/OCP 50 MEMORY CARD & MEMORY KEY
2.7.1 - Introduction
On the OCP 42 and OCP 50, the memory card is used to store operating settings or technical
values (depending on the configuration) for one or more cameras.
2.7.1.1 - Inserting the memory card
The memory card is inserted into the card reader located in the lower right hand part of the
panel. The card’s memory zone must be positioned towards the bottom of the card and towards
the left hand side of the panel.
2.7.1.2 - Types of memory card
There are two types of memory card:
• ‘STUDIO’ cards, used to store operating settings for several cameras (up to 24). This can
be used for example to save the operating settings for cameras for a given broadcast.
• ‘CAMERA’ cards, used to store the technical values and operating settings for a single
camera. It could for example be used to restore all the original settings for a camera on its return
from hire.
Note: the operating settings are the settings that can be controlled directly from the panel,
while technical values are the settings accessible using the maintenance keypad.
The ‘STUDIO’ cards are designed more for operating settings, while ‘CAMERA’ cards are
geared towards maintenance functions.
The type of card is determined by the first record on the card:
• a ‘STORE studio card’ record configures the card as a ‘STUDIO’ card.
• a ‘STORE camera card’ record configures the card as a ‘CAMERA’ card.
