MAINTENANCE
Seat Installation
Always make sure the seats are securely fastened before riding the motorcycle. A loose seat could
cause a sudden shift in riding position, causing loss of control.
WARNING
Operator Seat Installation
1. Slide the tab on the front of the seat into the seat bracket at the rear
of the fuel tank.
2. Align the screw holes on each side of the seat.
3. Install seat screws and tighten securely.
4. Ensure the front tab is engaged with the bracket by pulling upward
on the front of the seat.
5. Reinstall rail covers and torque to 18 lb-ft. (24.5 Nm).
Passenger Seat Installation
1. Slide the tab at the front of the seat into the passenger seat bracket
while pushing down on the front.
2. Align the screw hole at the rear of the seat.
3. Install seat screw and tighten securely.
4. Ensure the front tab is engaged with the bracket by pulling upward
on the front of the seat.
5. Install the rubber cap. If necessary, apply a mild soap and water
solution to aid installation.
