Brakes
Adjust Rear Brake Pedal Freeplay
1. Loosen the brake linkage rod locknut (1).
2. Turn the linkage rod in or out as necessary.
3. Tighten the linkage rod locknut.
4. Check the brake pedal freeplay.
Check Rear Brake Fluid Level
1. To check the rear brake fluid level, remove the right
side cover. Straddle the motorcycle and bring it to a
vertical position.
2. View the brake fluid through the reservoir. The fluid
should be clear and at a level between MIN and
MAX. Add brake fluid if necessary.
