Set the "F-RUN/SET/R-RUN" selector to:
• F-RUN if it is desired that the time code be produced independently of the video
recorder operating mode,
• REC-RUN if it is desired that the time code be produced during recording only.
5.2.3.6 - REAL TIME input
Set the "REAL TIME" selector to SET.
Use the "SHIFT" and the "ADVANCE" buttons to enter the real time.
Set the "REAL TIME" selector to OFF.
NOTE:
1. To display the real time clock:
- set the "REAL TIME" selector to REC-ON,
- set the "DISPLAY" selector to the U-Bit position,
provisional display of User Bit,
- press the "DISPLAY HOLD" button.
2. To record real time (on the VITC only), set the "REAL TIME" switch to REC-ON.
3. Make sure to set the VITC recording correctly. The positions recommended by the
manufacturer are lines 19 (code C) and 21 (code E). For further details, refer to the
video recorder manual.
5.2.3.7 - Frame counter reset (CTL)
Set the "DISPLAY" selector to CTL.
Press the "RESET" button.
• Display: "00 00 00 00".
