To edit a home movie tape, you wilt need
another VCR or another video camera recorder.
To Edit from Another VCR to the CCD-
TR5 Un
1 Make sure the INPl/TfOUTPUT selector
switch Is set to INPUT.
O While pressing the small button, set the
^ POWER swHeh on the CCD-TR5 to VTR.
3 start playbaclr on another VCR.
4 Slide the • REC switch on the CCD TR5.
When the VCR to be used Is a stereo type,
use the VMC-910MS/920MS connecting cable.

4 Sat the Input ielaetof on the VCR to UNE.
5 Preaa the |l button on the CCD-TRS during
playback at the point where you want to
Press the record button on Che other VCR,
pressing the || button.
Release the II buttons on both unlit
simultaneously.
Recording will start
When the VCR to be used is a stereo type,
use the VMC-910MSI920MS connecting cord-
Atler editing, turn off both units arxl be sure to
slide the EDIT switch in the reversed direction
to the arrow (OFF).
To cut oft an utweceeeary portion
Press the
II button on the recorder at the
beginning of the unnecessary portion.
Release II where you want to resume recording

Slide this switch In the direction of the arrow (ON)
whenever you edit tapes Signal loss that results
from tape lo-tape transfer will be reduced,
achieving more accurate signal transfer.
When recording or playing back normally, keep this
switch in Ihe reversed direction to Ihe arrow (OFF).

raccordement VMC-910MS/920MS.
Apiée le montega. mettre tes deux appareils
hors tension et veiller é faire gtisser
l'interrupteur EDIT dans la direction opposée é
ta llèche (OFF).

début de la portion é ignorer. La relécher
lorsqu'on souhaite reprendre renreglstrement.

Faire glisser l'Interrupteur dans la direction de la
llèche (ON) A chaque montage de barxte.
Les pertes de signal qui résultent du transfert de
barxte è banda seront réduites, permettant ainal
d'obtenir un Iranslerl de signal plus précis. Lors de
l'enregistrement ou de la lecture normale, laisser
l'Interrupteur sur la direction opposée A la flèche
(OFF).
