To Insert a TV Program or a Picture
from Another VCR R1
Monitor the picture being inserted on the
viewfinder screen,
4 While preseing the smalt button, set the
' POWER swritch to VTR.

During recording or playback, the digits on the
counter indicate the actual recording or
playback time.
To Index the Whole Tape
Press the RESET button at the beginning of
the tape so that the counter shows '0:00:00".
By notlrrg the counter reading at a particular
point, you can easily find that point later by
referring to the tape counter
• The counter reading and the point of the tape
may nol correspond exactly. Use the counter as
a guide.
• The counter does not operate (or a blank,
unrecorded portion of a tape.
• There will be a time lag ol several seconds on
the counter reading alter repeated fasl lorward
and rewlrrd operations.
• There will be also a lime lag of several seconds
when the tape recorded in LP and SP modes
mixed or Ihe lape having a blank porllon
between Ihe recorded portions Is played back.
To Return to a Pre registered Point II

O Praaa the ZERO MEM button. The "ZERO
MEM" Indicator will Wink in the display
window.

The lape will be rewourrd or sent forward
and stop aulomaticalty when the counter
reaches approximately zero
Notts
• The ZERO MEM button does nol function during
recording or playback mode.
• Be sure to press the ZERO MEM button when
the tape is stopped.
• The ZERO MEM mode Is cancelled automatically
once the lape Is rewound or sent forward to zero.

Au cours de l'enregistrement, ou la lecture, les
chiffres du compteur indiquent la durSe réelle
de l'enregistrement ou de la lecture.
Indexation d'une cassette entiere
Appuyer sur la louche RESET en début de
bande pour que l'affichage du compteur soit
ramené 4 la position “0:QQ:00”. En relèvent les
Indications numériques du compteur
correspondarrt à une section partlcuNére de la
bande, Il est possible de retrouver facilement
cette section ultérieurement en prenant le
compteur de bande comme référerKe.
* Il M peut que l'afftchage du compteur et le potni

compteur comme guide
• La compteur ne fonctionne pet pendant le
défilement des portions vierges d'une bande.

du compteur.

• La lorrctlon de mémorisation du point zéro (ZERO
MEM) est Irropéranle en mode d'enreglstrerrtenl
ou lecture.
• S'assurer d'appuyer sur la louche ZERO MEM
lorsque la bande ne défile plus.
• Le mode ZERO MEM est annulé automatique­
ment lorsque la bande esl rebobinée ou avarrcée
jusqu'au point zéro.
