1) To install glass panels: From top of cage, lower glass panel
down inside fixture. Fit bottom edge of glass into channel
along bottom inside of cage. Press glass panel up against
inside of cage. Place bracket inside cage. Align hole in step
of bracket with hole in top edge of cage above glass panel.
Thread screw down through hole in bracket and into hole in
cage. Keep bottom step of bracket gently pressed against
glass panel. (See FIG. 2 for glass panel installation detail.)
Repeat these steps for remaining glass panels.
2) TURN OFF POWER.
IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work
without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your
home. Place the main power switch in the “OFF”
position.
b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker
switch(s), that control the power to the fixture or room
that you are working on.
c) Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position. If the fixture
to be replaced has a switch or pull chain, place those in
the “OFF” position.
3) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting
strap. Assemble mounting screws into threaded holes.
4) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided).
Mounting strap can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.
5) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.) Reference
chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly.
6) Push fixture to wall, carefully passing mounting screws
through holes in fixture.
7) Thread threaded balls onto mounting screws. Tighten
threaded balls to secure fixture to wall.
8) Insert recommended bulb.
9) Raise cage up to fixture. Pass opening in top of cage over
sockets.
10) Fit top of cage inside roof of fixture.
11) Thread screws down through roof of fixture and into cage.
12) From bottom inside of cage, screw thumbscrew into hole in
back of cage and into hole on short stem on bottom of arm.
Tighten thumbscrew to secure cage to fixture.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING FIXTURE OUTDOORS AND/
OR IN WET LOCATIONS.
13) Mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat and 1/4” larger
that the canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting
surface and canopy exceeding 3/16” should be corrected
as required.
14) With silicone caulking compound, caulk completely around
where back of canopy meets the wall surface to prevent
water from seeping into outlet box.
