Kichler 3719 - Manuel

1) TURN OFF POWER.
IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without
shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. Place
the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker switch(s),
that control the power to the fixture or room that you are working on.
c) Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position. If the fixture to be
replaced has a switch or pull chain, place those in the “OFF” position.
2) Assemble mounting screws into threaded holes in mounting strap.
3) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided)
4) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.) Reference chart
below for correct connections and wire accordingly.
5) Push fixture to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws through holes.
6) Secure fixture to wall using threaded balls.
7) Screw hexnut on to threaded pipe and screw threaded pipe into coupling
on bottom of fixture body. Secure threaded pipe in place by tightening
hexnut against coupling.
8) Screw second hexnut onto end of threaded pipe.
9) Slip flat washer then rubber washer over threaded pipe and against
hexnut.
10) Raise glass up to fixture carefully passing threaded pipe through hole in
glass. Secure in place with rubber washer, flat washer and hexnut.
(DO NOT over tighten.)
11) Pass trim over threaded pipe and screw finial onto threaded pipe..
(DO NOT over tighten.)

INSTRUCTIONS
For Assembling and Installing Fixtures in Canada
Pour L’assemblage et L’installation Au Canada
1) COUPER LE COURANT.
IMPORTANT: TOUJOURS couper l’électricité avant de commencer le
travail.
a) Localiser le coffret à fusibles ou le disjoncteur du domicile. Mettre
l’interrupteur principal en position d’Arrêt.
b) Dévisser le ou les fusibles (ou mettre le disjoncteur sur Arrêt) qui
contrôlent l’alimentation vers le luminaire ou la pièce dans
laquelle le travail est effectué.
c) Mettre l’interrupteur mural en position d’Arrêt. Si le luminaire à
remplacer est doté d’un interrupteur ou d’une chaîne connectée à
l‘interrupteur, placer ces éléments en position d’Arrêt.
2) Visser les vis de montage dans les trous filetés du support de montage.
3) Fixer la bride de montage sur la boîte à prises. (Vis non fournies).
4) Connecter les fils (connecteurs non fournis). Se reporter au tableau ci-
dessous pour faire les connexions.
5) Pousser le luminaire vers le plafond en passant soigneusement les vis
de montage par les trous dans le cache.
6) Fixer le luminaire au plafond à l’aide des boutons moletés.
7) Visser l’écrou hexagonal sur le tube fileté puis visser le tube dans
l’accouplement sur l’extrémité inférieure du luminaire. Fixer le tube fileté
en serrant l’écrou hexagonal contre l’acouplement.
8) Visser le deuxième écrou hexagonal sur l’extrémité du tube fileté.
9) Passer la rondelle plate et la rondelle caoutchoutée sur le tube fileté et
contre l’écrou hexagonal.
10) Soulever le verre vers le luminaire en passant soigneusement le tube
fileté par les trous dans le verre. Fixer le verre à l’aide de la rondelle en
caoutchouc, de la rondelle plate et de l’écrou hexagonal. (NE PAS
serrer avec excès).
11) Passer la garniture par-dessus le tube fileté et visser l’ornement sur le
tube fileté. (NE PAS serrer avec excès).
