SL100 Machine Torch End Cap Kits
No. 9-7044 and 9-7046
Installation Instructions
General Information
These End Cap Kits are for use on the 1Torch™ SL100 machine torches only. Kit No. 9-7044 is for use with unshielded
torch leads, Kit No. 9-7046 is for use with shielded (discrete) torch leads. Do not use these kits on any other equip-
ment.
Parts Supplied
The kit includes:
2 End Cap Halves
2 Mounting Screws
1 Tie Wrap (Kit No. 9-7046 Only)
1 Installation Instructions
Installation
1. Turn OFF the power supply.
2. Disconnect the main input power to the power supply.
3. Place the two halves of the end cap onto the end of the mount-
ing tube. Make sure of the following:
• Alignment pins in the end cap halves are in the holes
provided in the mounting tube.
• The end of the Spring on the Torch Leads is inserted into
the slot in the end cap halves (unshielded leads only).
4. Secure the two end cap halves together with the two screws
provided.
5. In installations with shielded torch leads, pull the leads cover down over the end cap assembly. Secure the leads
cover to the end cap with the tie wrap.
6. Install the proper torch consumables for the Power Supply amperage.
7. Reconnect input power to the Power Supply and turn ON the unit.
8. Set proper gas pressure or flow per torch manual.
9. Test torch for proper operation.
