The I 5S may be operated using the AC
Adapter supplied, or 6 Alkaline “C” bat-
teries (not supplied). It is recommended
that when the
I 5S is operated from bat-
teries, the Auto-Off Timer feature may
be turned on to extend battery life.

Plug the AC adapter connector into the
receptacle in the right end cap and plug
the adapter into a convenient AC outlet.

1. Remove the two screws from the
left end cap using a phillips screw-
driver.
2. Remove the end cap.
3. Insert 6 Alkaline "C" batteries in the
battery compartment orienting the
positive (+) and negative (-) ends as
shown on the label at the rear of the
indicator.
4. Replace the end cap and
two screws.
