Selecting TV screen type
These settings are not necessary when using a wide-screen television (16:9).
•Turn on your television and the unit (-*^ page 13, ‘To turn the unit on”).
•Switch the video input mode on the television to suit the type of connection you have
made.
While stopped
Press [ACTION] or [MENU] to display the initial settings screen.
Use the cursor ¡ockey

▼] to select “5 TV Aspect” and press [ENTER].

Select when a conventional television is connected.
•16:9
Select when a wide-screen television is connected or when the unit’s LCD is used.
Press [RETURN] to finish the setting.
■ To return to the previous menu
Press [RETURN].
•Select “16:9” when using the unit’s LCD without connecting a TV set,
•Ensure “7 Speaker Setting” is set to “2-channel” (^ page 38).
