Initial settings
Once the intial settings have been completed, the player can
always be operated under the same conditions (especially with
DVD discs).
The settings will be retained in the memory, until the settings
are changed, even after switching to standby mode.
Common procedures of initial settings

To cancel during setup operation
Press RETURN or select “0”. (The previous screen is dis
played.)
To clear the initial settings screen
Press the cursor buttons
( A ,
▼) to select “0” and press
SELECT. (Pressing ACTION or RETURN also clears the initial
settings screen.)
Notes:
•There is no No. 8 in the initial settings menu of this player.
•After the player is set to the “Lock All” setting in “2 Ratings”,
none of the initial settings, including “2 Ratings”, can be
changed if the DVD disc is left inside the player. In this case,
remove the disc, and unlock the player.
For your reference:
•The numeric buttons can also be used instead of the cursor
buttons
( A ,
▼) for selecting items or values. In this case,
pressing SELECT is not necessary.
