7) Troubleshooting
• Double check to see if all of the connections are still intact and that there are no exposed
wires. Ensure that the wires are fully sealed with the wirenuts.
• The two copper wire stubs at the end of the cut light cable must not be touching each
other. Crossing wires will cause the transformer to burn-out! Re-cut if the wires are cross-
ing or the original cut was not precise.
• Bulb life can be greatly increased by setting timer on the transformer so the light(s) only
operate during the desired viewing times. (ex. On at dusk, and off at 1:00 a.m.)
9) Attach the cap back onto the light housing.
10) Test to make sure the light works.
11) Position light back into the pond.
