150-Watt Transformer
The Aquascape PRO LVL lighting system operates on low
voltage and is safe for use in water features. It is good practice
whenever working in or near water to have all electrical devices
plugged into a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) that
has been installed by a licensed electrician.

PURPOSE. Neither seller nor the manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss, or damage whether
direct, incidental, or consequential arising out of the use or inability to use the product. The national
Electric Code, Article 680-41 (A), requires a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) to be installed in
the branch circuit supplying fountain equipment rated above 15 volts.
The Outdoor Low Voltage Transformer is war-
ranted against defective materials and work-
manship for a period of 12 months from the date
of purchase by the user. Contact the installer or
place of purchase if the Outdoor Low Voltage
Transformer should fail within the warranty pe-
riod. Warranty shall be totally null and void in
the event the Outdoor Low Voltage Transformer
is abused, misused, or used for a purpose other
than for which the product is intended.

For use with Aquascape PRO Underwater Lights. This transformer should not be used with
either swimming pools or spas.
• Do not use extension cords. • Do not submerge transformer.
• Do not connect two or more • Do not use with a dimmer.

submersible fixtures.
Instructions
1) Split one end of LVL cable and strip wire insulation,
exposing at least half an inch of wire on each side.
2) Slide bare wires of LVL cable under pressure plates
on bottom of transformer.
3) Tighten down pressure plates with terminal screws
provided. Make sure wire insulation clears
pressure plates.
4) Mount water-tight transformer within 1 foot
(30 cm) of a standard grounded electrical outlet
(120 volt only) with a weatherproof covered GFCI.
(test regularly)
5) It is best to mount transformer above ground
level, out of heavy traffic areas (ie. on a piece of
pressure-treated wood, on side of house, etc..). Use
landscape materials such as plantings, driftwood
or boulders to help camoflage transformer.
6) Lay the flat LVL cable along the outside edge of the
pond. (see light instructions to attach click and
plug connectors to LVL cable)
Troubleshooting
• If lights cycle on and off, remove power.
Cycling is caused by overload or short
circuit. Correct fault and restore power.
• Is lamp burned out? Use another lamp
to test.
• Bulb life can be greatly increased by
setting timer on the transformer so the
light(s) only operate during the desired
viewing times.
• To maximize the life of the transformer
and lights, the transformer should only
be operated at 80% of its total wattage
(ie. 80% of 60 watts = 48watts)
