Underwater light, Installation & maintenance instructions – Aquascape 50-Watt Underwater Light (01001) Manuel d'utilisation
Page 2

The low-voltage lighting (LVL) system has been engineered for use with
the Aquascape Ecosystem. For detailed information on the complete
20-step installation process, please refer to the Aquascape Ecosystem
installation instructions included with Aquascape Pond kits.
WArNING!
The LVL light is designed for use with the Aquascape 150-watt or 300-watt LVL
transformer. The 150-watt transformer is capable of powering up to 3 50-watt lights, and
the 300-watt transformer is capable of powering up to 6 50-watt lights. The LVL lighting
system operates on low voltage and is safe for use in water features. It is good practice
whenever working in or near water to have all electrical devices plugged into a ground fault
circuit interrupter (GFCI) that has been installed by a licensed electrician.
1) Getting to Know Your Underwater Light
The LVL light comes with:
• One 50-watt underwater LVL light with a 25 foot cord
• Wirenuts
The LVL transformer (sold separately, item #01003) comes with:
• One 300-watt low voltage transformer with photocell on/off timer
• 25 feet of 16 gauge low voltage electrical cable
2) Installing The Lights
It is easiest to install and conceal the LVL light(s) prior to putting the gravel in the pond.
Please refer to the Aquascape Ecosystem installation instructions for more information on
installing rocks and gravel. The LVL light(s) should be installed after all of the boulders are
placed along the vertical walls in the pond.
Placement of Lights:
Find a desirable location for the light(s). Please see diagram to right for proper placement.
We suggest positioning the lights so they are facing away from the main viewing area.
