• You can’t use the Advanced Surround
modes with SACD, DVD-Audio and
96 kHz PCM sources.
• If you change the surround setting, the
Advanced Surround setting is automati-
cally switched off.
Adjusting the effect level
You can adjust the effect level of the
Advanced Surround mode to get the sound
that you want.
• You can’t adjust the effect level of the
5-Channel Stereo or the Virtual Sur-
round Back modes.

Press SOUND.
Make sure that one of the Advanced
Surround modes is on when you do this
(see Using Advanced Surround on the
previous page).

Use the
/
(cursor left/right)
buttons to select ‘Effect’.

Use the
/
(cursor up/down)
buttons to adjust the effect level.
The effect level can be adjusted from 10
(min) to 90 (max).

Press ENTER to exit.
