Confirm that the Anti-Tip device is installed properly. Then, to
verify that the Anti-Tip device is engaged, grasp the top rear
edge of the range and carefully attempt to tilt it forward. The
Anti-Tip device should prevent the range from tilting forward
more than a few inches.
If you pull the range out from the wall for any reason, make
sure the anti-tip device is properly engaged when you push
the range back against the wall. If it is not, there is a risk of
the range tipping over and causing injury if you or a child
stand, sit, or lean on an open door.
Never completely remove the leveling legs. If you remove
the leveling legs, the range will not be secured to the anti-tip
device properly.
