EN: Installation Sheet

Description

F-series remote annunciators provide remote LED indicators
and controls for 10-zone F-series control panels. The FSRA10
provides system status LEDs, ten zone active LEDs, and ten
zone trouble LEDs. The FSRA10C provides system status
LEDs, ten zone active and zone trouble LEDs, and common
controls.

This installation sheet applies to the remote annunciator
models listed in Table 1.

Notes

All wiring is supervised and power-limited.

Use twisted pair cables for data wiring.

AUX power supplied by the control panel can’t exceed 0.5 A. If
more than 0.5 A is required, you must use a power-limited and
regulated 24 VDC auxiliary/booster power supply that is UL/ULC
Listed for fire protective signaling systems.

If powered from an external supply, the supply must be installed
in the same room as the control panel and their 24 VDC
commons (−) wired together.

The RKEY switch wiring is not supervised. The switch must be
located within 3 feet (.91 m) of the annunciator, in the same room,
and enclosed in conduit or is equivalently protected against
mechanical injury.

Installation

1. Attach the mounting plate to the electrical box. See

Figure 3.

2. Configure the remote annunciator for peripheral group 1 or

group 2.

3. Wire the remote annunciator. See Figure 5.

4. Attach the RKEY switch wiring to the annunciator. See

Figure 5.

5. Set the remote annunciator on the mounting plate, and

then secure it with the set screw.
