Sequential mode Skipping discs
Two sequential modes are available:
■ Sequential mode 1
All the discs including DVDs will be played.
(When the power is turned on, sequential mode 1 is always
selected.)
•If there is a DVD or a Video CD with playback control
in the disc tray
When a menu screen appears, perform step 6 on page 19
to continue play.
Play stops or a menu screen reappears when playback is
finished. Press DISC SKIP to proceed to the next disc.
■ Sequential mode 2
Only the Video CDs and CDs will be sequentially played.
•If there is a DVD in the disc tray
The DVD will be skipped.
•If there is a Video CD with playback control in the disc
tray
Playback control will be cancelled automatically. That
means no menu screen will be displayed on the TV moni­
tor and play will begin from track 1 of the Video CD.
To change the sequential mode,
Press SEQUENTIAL MODE.
•Each time the button is pressed, sequential mode 1 or 2 will
be alternately selected.

Exchanging discs during play
While playing a disc, it is possible to change the other discs
without interrupting play.

Press OPEN/CLOSE during play to open the
loading drawer.

Press DISC SKIP to rotate the disc trays to
the desired position.
The carousel wilt move clockwise by one disc tray. Then,
each press moves the carousel in the opposite directions
by two disc trays.

Exchange the discs and press OPEN/
CLOSE to close the loading drawer.
Press DISC SKIP during play or in the stop
mode.
•Each time the button is pressed, the next disc tray is select­
ed.

For your reference:
•When pressed in the stop mode, the disc trays just rotate.
When pressed during play, the disc trays rotate and play
begins from the beginning of the next disc.
• If there is no disc on the selected disc tray, the disc tray of the
next number will be selected.
•When DISC SKIP is pressed during playback of disc 5, play­
back of disc 1 will start.
Exchanging the disc and starting
playback
Press DISC EXCHANGE during play or in
the stop mode.
Play is stopped (if pressed during play), the loading draw­
er is opened and the disc tray which was in the play posi­
tion comes to the front-left position,
Exchange the discs in the front-left posi­
tion.
Front-left position

Press DISC EXCHANGE again.
The loading drawer is closed, the disc tray returns to the
play position and play begins from the new disc.
