Capturing the
image
Notes
• Do not delete image
files, change an image
file name, or move
image files to another
directory, as the
Capturer program will
not be able to locate
those files.
If there is a missing
image in the Album,
Capturer displays the
missing image as a blue
box.
• When capturing an
image directly from the
video camera, you
cannot control the
video camera recorder
from the VCR
operation panel.
For details on operating procedures, see also the
"Help" menu in the window.
1
Set up the system.
(1) Turn on the connected video equipment.
(2) Insert the tape with the image to be captured
into the video equipment.
2
Capture the image.
(
1
)
Click ►- on the VCR operation panel in the
monitor screen.
The connected video equipment starts
playback, and the playback image appears in
the preview window on the monitor screen.
(2) Select the image to be captured on the VCR
operation panel on the monitor screen.
(3)
Click "Capture".
Each time you click "Capture," Capturer saves
the selected image on your hard disk to a DV
file. It is better to capture as many as possible
images so that you can choose the best image at
a later time.
Capturing an image from the video camera
recorder directly
If you want to capture an image directly from the
video camera instead of playing back a tape recorded
on the video equipment, set the power switch of the
video camera recorder to "CAMERA" and the standby
switch to "Standby".
