Mounting instructions:
1. Locate a position on the ATV suitable for the Gearlock & Load. Be sure that the accessories that
you will mount are free of obstructions and the release push tab on the ATV plate is free to move.
2. Find the crossbraces and make sure they have the nuts inside the slots. Using the three
crossbraces and Truss head bolts, mount the ATV plate to the rack on the ATV. The crossbraces
allow mounting to tubular and composite racks.
3. Choose your accessory to mount to the accessory plate. Using the 4 Allen head bolts and nuts,
mount your accessory to the accessory plate. Repeat this for the other accessory plate if you have
another accessory you would like to interchange with.
Operating instructions:
• Once the Gearlock & Load is mounting to the ATV and your accessory, slide the accessory plate
into the ATV plate until it snaps into place. This will secure the accessory plate into place. There
is a pin and cable attached to the ATV plate that is for added security. Simply slide the pin
through the hole on the accessory plate so that the ball is at least through the accessory plate.
• To remove or switch the accessory plate, pull the pin out of the hole on the accessory plate and
push on the release tab on the ATV plate. While pushing the tab, pull the accessory plate out of
the ATV plate. It is recommended that the accessory be unloaded when removing the accessory
plate from the ATV plate.
