85200 – Universal Independent Rear
Suspension Lockout
IRS Suspension Lock Mounting & Assembly: (except Honda Rincon)
1. Lift the rear of machine to ensure maximum ground clearance with the Suspension Lock.
2. Attach A-Arm Brackets (1) to the A-Arms of the ATV using the U-Bolts, washers and nuts
provided. Tighten Securely.
3. Pin the cross bars (2) to the A-Arm brackets (1) using the Locking Pins enclosed.
4. Bolt the two Cross Bars (2) together using the Nuts and Bolts Provided.
NOTE: Honda Rincon excluded-refer to the following instructions for this machine.
IRS Suspension Lock Use:
• The Kolpin Lock out should be used for the following applications:
1. Kolpin DirtWorks Three Point system.
2. Pulling ice shanties, trailers, boats, etc.
3. Heavy duty trailering applications
• For Trail riding, remove the 2 locking pins and detach the 2 cross bars. (A-Arm Brackets do not
need to be removed).
IRS Suspension Lock Compatible With:
• Any ATV with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) including Polaris Sportsman models,
Suzuki King Quad, Kawasaki Brute Force, Yamaha Grizzly and Kodiak and Honda Rincon.
• For Can-Am use Kolpin Part No. 85210.
