13. Clear the leads in preparation for remov-
ing the stator/end bracket.
14. Lift the eight brushes from the commuta-
tor. Note the position of the brushes for
reassembly.

15. With the 1/2" wrench, disconnect and
clear the four heavy cables from the gen-
erator brush holders to the coils in the
generator frame. It is not necessary to
remove the brush holder jumper cables.
