Congratulations on your purchase of the Aquascape Pond Aerator 2
or Pond Aerator 4! The Pond Aerator pump is a highly acclaimed air
pump designed specifically for pond use. These pumps are extremely
quiet while supplying an adequate amount of air for any need. Their
strong ABS external shell will ensure that the unit stays protected
from any environment.
1) electrical Safety for Pond Aerator Air Pumps
• Connecting the pump to the main power supply
a. Check that the voltage of the main power supply corresponds to the voltage shown on
the air pump.
b. It is recommended for safety that all pond equipment be connected through a ground
fault circuit interrupter(GFCI).
• Install pump where it will not come into contact with water.
• Danger – To avoid possible electric shock, special care should be taken since water is em-
ployed in the use of a pond. For each of the following situations, do not attempt to perform
the repairs yourself. Return the appliance for exchange or discard the unit.
a. If the appliance falls into the water, DON’T reach for it. First unplug it then retrieve it.
b. If the appliance shows any signs of abnormal water leakage, immediately unplug it from
the power source.
c. Carefully examine the appliance after installation. It should not be plugged in if there is
water on parts not intended to be wet.
d. Do not operate the appliance if the cord or plug has been damaged.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
