- Remove the rear shield and the knockout.
- Remove the outer top.
- Replace components 3 through 6 onto the rear of
appliance.
- Replace components 7 through 10 onto the top of
appliance.
- Before replacing rear shield, slide the vent pipe through
the rear shield a few inches, secure 4” and 7“ to the collars.
- Slide the rear shield along the vent pipe and re-secure to
the appliance.
- Complete vent installation.

In order to convert the venting confi guration from a top exit to a rear exit, remove components as illustrated:
When reinstalling in the alternate position: Check gaskets for tears, replace if necessary to ensure a proper
seal.
