Product Overview RM 50
Product description
The RM 50 Wireless Receiver works with
STEINEL wireless sensors to extend group
lighting control without adding additional
sensors. It turns lighting on and off based on
detection from a wireless occupancy sensor
programmed to the same group.
The RM 50 mounts to a 1/2 inch knockout of
a lighting fi xture or junction box. The wireless
devices are grouped together via a DIP switch
address. Any wireless occupancy sensor will
switch all devices in a group ON when triggered.

Placement guidelines - RM 50
The RHB 300 and RHB 200 typically mount to
a 1/2” knockout at the end of a high/low bay
lighting fi xture. The sensor's lens should be
mounted below the bottom edge of the fi xture.
The EM 1 Extender Module is recommended
for use with the RHB 300 and RHB 200 if the
knockout at the end of the fi xture is located
greater than 1/2” from the bottom edge of the
fi xture.
The RM 50 typical mounts to a 1/2” knockout
at the end of a high/low bay lighting fi xture.
The receiver has no lens and therefore can be
mounted to any 1/2” knockout on the fi xture.
