Problem Possible cause Solution
E 2 is flashing in the tem-
perature display.
The ice channel in the door
is blocked.
Remove the obstacle. Press
any button to reset the
Alarm.
E 3 or E 5 is flashing in the
temperature display.
The ice maker is defective. Contact the nearest Author-
ized Service Centre.
Ice maker icon is flashing. The ice container is in incor-
rect position.
Remove the ice container
and place it correctly. Refer
to "Removing the ice con-
tainer".
A rattling noise. The ice being stirred to pre-
vent it from freezing togeth-
er.
No measure necessary, this
sound is normal. As an al-
ternative, refer to "To acti-
vate the night mode".
7.2 Replacing the lamp
The appliance is equipped with a longlife
LED interior light.
Only service is allowed to replace the
lighting device. Contact your Service
Center .
7.3 Closing the door
1. Clean the door gaskets.
2. If necessary, adjust the door. Refer to
"Installation".
3. If necessary, replace the defective
door gaskets. Contact the Service
Center.

8.1 Positioning
This appliance can be installed in a dry,
well ventilated indoor where the ambient
temperature corresponds to the climate
class indicated on the rating plate of the
appliance:

Some functional problems
might occur for some types
of models when operating
outside of that range. The
correct operation can only be
guaranteed within the
specified temperature range.

8.2 Location
To ensure best performance, if the
appliance is positioned below an
overhanging wall unit, the minimum
distance between the top of the cabinet
and the wall unit must be at least 40 mm.
