The TAPE (MONITOR) indicator
This indicator iights in the foilowing two situations:
1. While TAPE is seiected.
2. While TAPE MONITOR is in use.
To use the tape monitor
(For use when you have connected a graphic equalizer to. the
TAPE terminals.)
If [TAPE MONITOR] is pressed whiie a source other than TAPE is
selected, the ‘TAPE (MONiTOR)” indicator lights and the tape
monitor comes on.
Sources other than tape can still be selected with [INPUT
SELECTOR] while the “TAPE (MONITOR)” indicator is on.
Press [TAPE MONiTOR] again to turn the tape monitor off,

the tape monitor during recording.)
• The tape monitor cannot be used when TV, DVD, or CD digital
input is being used.
• If you are using the tape monitor and you select a digital input
source, the tape monitor switches off.
• Depending on the settings on the graphic equalizer, there may
be some distortion.
