Compact Disc Player Basics
Mode Selection
While the disc is inserted, press MODE to switch the operation mode
in the following order.
Tuner ---------- ► CD Player
To start the CD Player
Insert the disc (label side up) and playback starts automatically.

“CD LOAD" will be displayed until the disc is loaded. Play starts from
first track.
CD IN
Note: While the disc is inserted, “CD IN" indicator will light. If you
press “MODE" after the disc is ejected, the disc will be re-inserted.
Stopping and Ejecting a Disc
Press “ to stop CD play, and the disc will quietly eject from the CD
slot. (During disc ejection, “CD EJECT’ will be displayed.)
Anti-Shock Memory
This function stores oncoming sound data while playing, thus
preventing CD play from being interrupted due to vibration.
Memory storing time
CQ-DPG550
CQ-DPG500
10 sec.
3 sec. (Automatic)
On CQ-DPG550EUC, the Anti-Shock Memory function can be
switched ON/OFF by pressing the MODE button for two seconds.
