2. Install the Software
1. Close ail programs.
2.
Insert the HP Image Zone CD that is appropriate for
your language and operating system.
Windows:
Insert CD 1 and follow the on-screen
instructions. Depending on your system configuration,
you may be instructed to insert CD 2. If the installation
does not start automatically: On Start menu, click
Run
and type:
D:setup.exe
(where D is the letter of the
CD-ROM drive).
Note:
To determine which software to install, see the
on-screen installation instructions and the User's Manual.
Macintosh:
Install CD 2 and double click the installer
icon on the CD.
2. Installation du logiciel
1. Fermez tous les programmes.
2. Insérez le CD HP Image Zone correspondant à votre
langue et
à
votre système d'exploitation.
Windows
: insérez le CD 1 et suivez les instructions à
l'écran. Selon votre configuration, vous pouvez être
invité à insérer le CD 2. Si l'installation ne démarre pas
automatiquement : choisissez
Démarrer, Exécuter,
puis
tapez :
D:setup.exe
(D représente la lettre désignant
votre lecteur de CD-ROM).
Remarque
: reportez-vous aux instructions d'installation
et au Guide de l'utilisateur afin de déterminer le
logiciel à installer.
Macintosh
: insérez le CD 2 et double-cliquez sur
l'icône du programme d'installation du CD.
3. Connect the Scanner
1. Connect the combination USB and power cable to
the scanner cable.
2. Connect the power supply to the connector on the
shorter cable of the combination USB and power
cable.
3. Connect the USB connector to a USB port on the
computer.
4. Do one of the following if you have:
• One-piece power supply: Connect the other end to
a surge protector or a grounded wall outlet.
• Two-piece power supply: Connect one end of the
power cord to the power supply and the other end
to a surge protector or a grounded wall outlet.
3. Connexion du scanner
1. Connectez le câble mixte alimentation/USB au
câble du scanner.
2. Reliez le câble court du câble mixte
alimentation/USB au cordon d'alimentation.
3. Reliez le connecteur USB
à
un port USB de votre
ordinateur.
4. Selon les cas, procédez comme suit :
• Cordon d'alimentation simple : connectez
l'extrémité opposée à un parasurtenseur ou à une
prise murale reliée à la terre.
• Cordon d'alimentation double : reliez une
extrémité du cordon d'alimentation à la source
d'alimentation et l'autre extrémité à un
parasurtenseur ou
à
une prise murale reliée
à
la
terre.
4. Set Up the Scanner
Note:
The holder is not necessary for scanning. If there
is a sticker on the front of the hofder, peel it off.

1. Open the support legs by rotating them into place.
2.
Place the scanner in the holder with the HP logo
facing you. The buttons should be on the right side
and the cord should exit on the lower left.
3. To align the scanner in the holder, slide the scanner
from side to side in the holder until it is secured.

1. Be sure the hinge on the holder is rotated forward.
2.
Lay the scanner on the holder with the HP logo
facing you. The buttons should face away from the
hinge and the cord should exit next to the hinge.
3. Press the back of the scanner down until it clicks into
place in the hinge.

4. Installation du scanner
Remarque
: le support n'est pas nécessaire
à
la
numérisation. Si un autocollant est apposé sur le devant
du support, décollez-le.

1. Dépliez le support en faisant pivoter les différents
éléments.
2.
Placez le scanner sur son support, logo HP face à
vous. Les boutons devraient se trouver côté droit et le
cordon d'alimentation devrait sortir en bas à
gauche.
3. Pour positionner correctement le scanner dans son
support, faites-le glisser jusqu'à ce qu'il soit
fermement installé.

1. Assurez-vous que le gond du support est positionné
face vers l'avant.
2.
Posez le scanner sur son support, logo HP face à
vous. Les boutons devraient se trouver
à
l'opposé du
gond et le cordon d'alimentation devrait sortir à côté
du gond.
3. Appuyez sur l'arrière du scanner jusqu'à ce qu'il
s'emboîte dans le gond.
