Notes on the connections
• Connect the AC power adapter (supplied) to the DC
IN 6V connector on the unit. Do not connect the
power source until all other connections are
complete.
• If you connect your TV to a VCR with a TV tuner,
you can watch VCR pictures whenever the media
converter is not turned on (with the AC power
adapter connected).
• Be sure to insert the connecting cable squarely into
the connector/jack to avoid malfunctions.
• Keep metal objects away from the connector pins to
avoid short circuits.
If your analog video unit or TV has an S-video
input/output connector
Use the supplied S-video connecting cable to connect
to the S-VIDEO IN/OUT connector of the media
converter instead of the VIDEO IN /OUT connectors
for higher quality pictures.
