5.0 FINISHING
5.1 CAST FRONT INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
A.
Lift the top cast piece off of the appliance.
B.
Detach the front cast piece
from the side pieces by
removing the screws from
the brackets located in the
upper inside corners.
C.
Slide the front straight up to
remove.
Follow the above steps in reverse
in order to reinstall the cast front.
Ensure that the tabs on the
underside of the front fi t behind the
front legs.
NOTE: It is not necessary to
remove the cast front, in order to
remove the door.

5.2 CAST IRON DOOR ADJUSTMENT

A.
Place 1 hinge pin, notch facing up, in each of the
4 front hinge bushings.
NOTE: Apply a dab of clear silicone (not
supplied) to the bottom portion of the hinge
pin before installing into the front hinge
bushing to prevent the pin from rotating
when set (allow 24 hours).
B.
Place
a
fi bre washer on each pin.
C.
Slide the door hinge bushings onto the
hinge pins. Some adjustment of the pins
may be necessary to line up the pins with
the door hinge bushings.
D.
When both doors are installed, check
the setting of the doors. If adjustment is
required, use a fl at-head screwdriver to
turn the hinge pins and adjust the doors
appropriately.
