THE DISCHARGE/CHARGE MODE
1. Power up the main unit and place the battery
pack into the battery mounting adaptor on the
charger.
2. The "CHARGER" LED will light up. Push the
DISCHARGE button. The "CHARGE3 LED
will go off, and the "DISCHARGE" LED will
light up. The charger will begin to analyse the
battery and will then start to discharge the
battery.
(Note: The user can push the discharge
button to switch between discharge and
charge mode during the charger’s operation)
3. When the discharge of the battery pack is
completed, the charger will automatically
switch to CHARGE mode.
THE DEEP CONDITIONING MODE
1. This mode is designed to be used
for batteries that have a serious
"memory effect". It is especially
useful for recovering these
batteries. If you think your
battery’s operating time has gone
down significantly, try to rescue
the battery by using this mode.
(Note: New batteries should also
be deep conditioned before use)
2. Power up the main unit and place
the battery pack into the battery
mounting adaptor on the charger.
3. When the "CHARGE" LED is on, push and hold down the DISCHARGE
button for at least five seconds. The "CHARGE" LED will go off, the
"DISCHARGE" LED will light up and the READY LED will flash three times
consecutively. You can then release the DISCHARGE button.
