Creating an Original Audio CD
Auditioning the Project You Wrote
To check (audition) the project you wrote to the disc, use the following procedure.
1. Insert the CD-R disc into the CD-R/RW drive.

2. Press [HOME

Condition screen will
appear.

3. Press [CD-RW (MASTERING)].
CD-RW/Mastering menu screen
will appear.

4. Press [F3 (CDPlyr)].
5. Press [PLAY]. The CD will begin
playing back. Use the master fader
and the MONITOR knob to adjust
the volume to a convenient listening
level. At CD player function, only
the following buttons, knobs, and
faders will be active.

[ZERO] : Move to the beginning of the first track.
SHUTTLE ring :Rewind as long as you
continue to turn the SHUTTLE ring.
SHUTTLE ring :Fast-forward as long as you
continue to turn the SHUTTLE ring.
[STOP]
: Stop.
[PLAY] : Begin playback from the current location.
[PREVIOUS] : Return to the previous song.
[NEXT] : Advance to the next song.
MASTER FADER: Adjust the overall volume.
MONITOR knob: Adjust the volume of the MONITOR jacks.
PHONES knob: Adjust the volume of the headphones.
6. When you are finished playing back, press [STOP].

7. Press [HOME (DISPLAY)].
Return to the Home Condition
screen.

You can listen to the
contents of the disc only
through the VS-2480’s
MASTER output,
MONITOR output, or from
the PHONES jack. You
cannot output the audio
from the CD-R/RW
headphone jack or AUDIO
OUT jacks.
