If you do not plan to use your humidifier for
an extended period of time, such as during the
summer months, it is important that you follow
these instructions to help prevent problems from
developing in the unit.
1. Clean your humidifier as outlined in the
CLEANING THE HUMIDIFIER AND THE
WATER TANK section.
Storage Tips
2. Make sure all water is emptied from
the tank and the hot and cold water
reservoirs.
3. Make sure the unit is completely dry.
4. Leave the Tank Cap off to expose the
Water Tank to air.
5. Pack the humidifier in the original
carton and store it in a cool, dry place.
• Problem: Humidifier
not misting.
Solution:
1. Make sure the unit is plugged in.
2. Check the circuit breaker or fuses.
3. Adjust the humidity level using the Power
Button and the Adjustable Humidistat.
Once the room reaches the set humidity
level, the humidifier will turn OFF; this is
normal.
4. Remove and refill the Water Tank.
5. Reposition the Water Tank on the Base.
• Problem: Humidity output and
water usage decreased.
Solution:
1. Check the Adjustable Humidistat and
Power Button to make sure they are set
to the desired humidity level.
2. Clean any components that have
mineral build-up. Refer to the section on
CLEANING THE HUMIDIFIER AND THE
WATER TANK.
