Introduction
Tlie Bosch MKM 6000 series coffee grinders are
powwful, yet lightwaght, high efficiency grinders
designed for househdd use. The MKM 6000 sales
grinder uses a slanted basket lhat causes the coffee
to swill as it is ground for a more even grind.
The packaging used for the coffee grinder is
biodegradable type and may be di^xjsed of ttirough
your local recycling center. In addHion, Bosch
recommends that vitien it comes time to dispose of
your grinder that it be disposed of in a safe and
environment^ly friendly way as recomnnended by
yourloc^, cily, state or provincial government
offices.

About your coffee grinder
Rease refer to figures 1 arxl 2. The parts of the
coffee grinder shown in figures 1 and 2 identified
below:
1. Body
2. Actuating button and cover
3. Slanted basket max cap. 2%. ounces (75
grams)
4. Grinder blade
North American models of the MKM 6000 series
coffee grinders are supplied for use on 120 volts, 60
Hz.
This appliance has a pc^rized p^ug (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical
shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it stBI does not fit, contact a qualified
^ectrician.
Do not
modify the plug in any way.
Before using for the first time
Before using your coffee grindw for the first time:
1. Check to make sure that the voltage on which
toe grinder is to opierate is the same as shown
on the rating plate.
2. Using a damp doth wipe the inside of toe cover
arxidry.
3. Using a dry cloth w^e the sl^t basket
Your coffee grinder is now ready for use.
Tips for successful brewing
Rne, well prepiared coffee is enjoyed by almost
everyone. The foltowing tips can help to assure that
your coffee vwll have that fresh, full flavored taste
every time:
- Always use fresh cold water.
- Usefresh, top quality coffee beans. After you
have found a coffee that you like, frediness is

coffee beans can
turn
rancid with age, spoiling toe
flavor.
- Keep unused coffee in a tightly sealed container in
your refrigerator or freezer.
- Experiment to learn how much ground coffee to

Using your coffee grinder
The Bosch coffee grinder is intended to be used to
grind coffee beans only. It ofrier items are ground in
