Specifications
Should cin\ prohlem persist after \’ou ha\ e
made these checks, consult \’our nearest Son\
dealer.
The player does not work or works
poorly.
• You tried to pla\’ with no disc in the
plac'er ("No DISC" flashes).
^ insert an MD.
• The ren^ote control is locked.
♦ Slide HOLD against the arrow to
unlock the remote control.
• Moisture has condensed inside the
plaver.
^ Take the MD out and lea\-e the
pla\'er in a .warm place for several
hours until the moisture evaporates.
• The rechargeable batterv or dry batter)'
is weak (CD"LoBATT" flashes^
Replace The dry battery or recharge
the battery.
• The rechargeable batterv or dry batterv
ha\’e been installed incorrectly.
^ Install the battery correctly.
• An MD with no recording on it is
inserted ("BLANK" flashes).
^ Insert a recorded MD.
• The pla\ er cannot read the disc (it's
scratched or dirty) ("Err” on the player
or "ERROR" on the remote control
flashes).
♦ Reinsert or replace the disc.
• While operating, the player received a
meciianical shock, too much static,
abnormal power \'oltage caused by
lightning, etc.
^ Restart the operation as follows.
1 Disconnect all the pow'er sources.
2 Lea\ e the plaver for about 30
‘ seconds.
3 Connect the power source.
The MD is not played normally.
• The pla\'er"i? set to the repeat mode
is displayed).
♦ Press PLAY MODE repeatedh' until
disappears, tlu^n start
