Tips
• You can use the same
filter sponge after
washing it.
Wash the filter
sponge with water or
a mild detergent
solution, and then
rinse it.
Make sure that the
filter sponge is
completely dry before
replacing it in the
unit.
• If the filter is
damaged, consult
your nearest Sony
dealer.
Changing the filter
If the unit heats up because of a very dusty filter, the
unit displays "TEMPERATURE" and stops
operating.

Turn off the power and disconnect the power cord.

Remove the dusty filter sponge.
Insert your finger into the groove by the filter and
push out the filter from the unit. Remove the filter
sponge from the filter.

Place a clean filter sponge into the filter, and
replace the filter in the unit.
Three filter sponges for replacement are supplied.
