Automatic Shut-Off for
Caught Objects
If an object becomes caught in the rotating
agitator brush, the brush motor will
automatically shut off. This automatic shut-off
protects your cleaner from overheating and
enables you to remove the caught object. The
amber light on the nozzle cover will illuminate
when the brush has stalled(figure 23).
a) Turn the cleaner OFF (0).
b) Unplug the cleaner from the wall outlet.
c) Place the cleaner on its side or back and
gently remove the caught object from the
agitator brush area(figure 24).
d) Press the RESET button(7) on the base of
the cleaner as shown(figure 23), and then
replug the power cord.
e) Switch the cleaner on to continue
vacuuming.
Hint:
Inspect the rotating brush
occasionally and remove any debris
wrapped around the brush.
Arrêt automatique en cas
d’obstructions
Si un objet bloque la brosse rotative, le
moteur de cette dernière s’arrêtera
automatiquement. Ce dispositif d’arrêt
automatique protège l’aspirateur contre la
surchauffe et permet d’enlever l’objet coincé.
Le voyant orangé sur le capot de la base
s’allume lorsque la brosse est bloquée
(figure 23).
a) Arrêter l’aspirateur (O).
b) Débrancher l’aspirateur de la prise murale.
c) Mettre l’aspirateur sur le côté ou sur le dos
et retirer délicatement l’objet enroulé
autour de la brosse rotative (figure 24).
d) Appuyer sur le bouton de
“RÉENCLENCHEMENT”(7) situé sur la
base de l’aspirateur, comme sur
l’illustration (figure 23), puis rebrancher
le cordon électrique.
e) Remettre l’aspirateur en marche et
poursuivre le travail.
Petit conseil pratique
: Examiner
périodiquement la brosse rotative et en
retirer les saletés qui s’y sont enroulées.

Suction Motor Protection
Your upright cleaner has been designed and
built with a thermal protection device. In a
situation where you do not realize the dirt path
is clogged, the protector will shut down your
cleaner. Should this occur, turn the switch OFF
(O) and check for clogs. Since the cleaner
was shut down thermally, it will take 30-50
minutes for the protector to automatically
reset.

dispositif de protection thermique, qui arrêtera
l’aspirateur en cas d’obstruction non détectée.
Si cela se produit, mettre l’interrupteur à
ARRÊT (O) et vérifier s’il y a une obstruction.
Comme l’aspirateur a été arrêté par voie
thermique, il faut attendre de 30 à 50
minutes avant que le dispositif de protection
se réenclenche.
