LGFLP & LGFLP Shower Trim

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Warning: Risk of fire. Do not install
insulation within 3 inches of fixture
sides or wiring compartment, nor above
fixture in such a manner as to entrap
heat.

New Installation
1. Slide both trim mounting brackets under lanced up tabs on the mounting frame as shown in Figure 1.

Brackets may be secured to the mounting frame by screws or rivets (not supplied).

2. Remove door assembly by pulling door assembly out of reflector, compress the torsion springs and

slide through slots in reflector.

3. Attach socket housing to top of reflector by aligning/inserting socket housing into raised tabs on top

of reflector. Align screw on socket housing with keyhole slot in top of reflector and push socket
housing forward as shown in Figure 2. Secure socket housing and reflector together by tightening
the screw.

4. Insert reflector through ceiling opening making sure to tilt and rock reflector as shown in Figure 3

orienting socket housing opposite the junction box. Align keyhole slots with screws in trim mounting
brackets. Rotate reflector to engage screws in keyhole slots and tighten until the reflector is flush
against the ceiling.

5. Visually inspect reflector flange making sure that it is seated properly against the ceiling.
6. Install appropriate lamp by inserting tip of lamp through the opening opposite the socket housing,

aligning base of lamp with socket and snapping lamp into socket. Refer to label located inside
socket housing for proper lamp type and wattage.

For shower trim installation, skip step 7 and proceed to step 8.
7. Install lens into upper reflector as shown in Figure 4.
8. Attach door assembly by compressing torsion springs and inserting them into the slots in the

reflector. Push door assembly up into reflector.

9. To remove the reflector: remove door assembly, remove lamp(s), loosen reflector retaining screws

and rotate reflector to disengage. Tilt and rock reflector through the ceiling opening, loosen screw
and remove socket housing from reflector.

10. IP65 rating standard for LGFLP shower trim. Apply a bead of silicone around the perimeter of

the trim in between ceiling and outer flange edge to protect mounting frame from corrosion.
