EVO SQ TRIM

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

For Your Protection, Read Carefully

Warning: Risk of fire. Do not install
insulation within 3 inches of fixture
sides or wiring compartment, nor above
fixture in such a manner as to entrap
heat.

Electric current can cause painful
shock or serious injury unless handled
properly. For your safety, always
remember the following:

• Turn off the supply power.
• Ground the fixture to avoid potential
electrical shocks.
• Do not handle an energized fixture or
energize any fixture with wet hands,
when standing on a wet or damp surface,
or in water

New Installation for EVO SQ Trim

1.

Cut ceiling opening slightly larger than the outside diameter on mounting frame. For flangeless installation,
cut ceiling opening slightly larger than the outside of the vertical wall of the injection molded mudring.
Ceiling Cutout: 4” EVO SQ: 5-1/4”, 6” EVO SQ: 6-3/4”.

Pull light engine assembly included with mounting frame through ceiling opening as shown in Figure 1.

Attach light engine assembly to top of reflector by aligning and engaging the three (3) trim retention notches
(see Figure 2) on the reflector with the three (3) screws on the light engine (see Figure 3). Note label
instructions on trim (Figure 5). Drive in the screws using a Philips head screwdriver.

Push reflector/light engine assembly into ceiling opening aligning the torsion springs with the trim retention
brackets on the mounting frame (see Figure 4). Push until reflector flange is flush with the ceiling.

To remove the reflector: pull reflector downward squeezing the torsion springs until completely removed
from mounting frame. Using a Philips head screwdriver, loosen the trim retention screws on the light engine,
disengage the reflector by twisting to open position with the trim retention notches.
