6. Install the breaker mounting brackets. Secure the
breaker mounting brackets [8] to the panel side rail
with thread-forming screws [9], as shown in Figure
10. Tighten the screws to 30 in-lb.

7. Install the circuit breakers. Position the barrier over
the mounting bracket, as shown in Figure 11.
Position the breakers so that the line- or
ON -side
terminals rest on the underlying strap contact blocks
and the opposite sides are supported by the
mounting brackets [8], as shown in Figure 12. Align
the holes in each breaker housing with the
corresponding holes in the mounting brackets.
Secure the breakers to the brackets with the machine
screws [14] and flat washers [13] and tighten to 18
in-lb. Attach the line-side breaker terminals to the
threaded holes in the strap contact blocks with
conical spring washers [11] and pan-head bolts [12].
Tighten each connection to 75 in-lb.

8. Tighten the strap connections. Tighten the bolted
strap connections to the vertical bus to 65 in-lb. It
may be necessary to remove an adjacent breaker to
allow access to the bolted connections at the vertical
bus.
6. Installer les supports de fixation de disjoncteur.
Fixer les supports de fixation de disjoncteur [8] au
rail latéral du panneau avec des vis auto-taraudeuses
[9], tel que montré à la Figure 10. Serrer les vis à 30
po-lb.
7. Installer les disjoncteurs. Positionner la barrière sur
le support de fixation, tel que montré à la Figure 11.
Positionner les disjoncteurs de manière à ce que les
terminaux du côté ligne ou
ON reposent sur les blocs
de contact sous-jacents des brides et que les côtés
opposés soient soutenus par les supports de fixation
[8], tel que montré à la Figure 12. Aligner les trous
dans chaque bâti de disjoncteur avec les trous
correspondants dans les supports de fixation. Fixer
les disjoncteurs avec les vis de mécanique [14] et les
rondelles plates [13] et serrer à 18 po-lb. Attacher les
terminaux de disjoncteur côté ligne aux trous
taraudés dans les blocs de contact des brides avec des
rondelles cuvettes [11] et des boulons à tête
hexagonale [12]. Serrer chaque connexion à 75 po-
lb.

8. Serrer les connexions des brides. Serrer les
connexions boulonnées des brides à la barre
omnibus verticale à 65 po-lb. Il se peut qu’il soit
nécessaire de retirer un disjoncteur adjacent pour
permettre l’accès aux connexions boulonnées à la
barre omnibus verticale.
