If a long distance call, and its 10-digit number is displayed,
1.
Pressing OPTIONS once will change it to an 11-digit
number (1 + 3-digit area code + 7-digit telephone
number).
2. Pressing OPTIONS twice will remove the 3-digit area code
and change to display only the 7-digit telephone number.
3. Pressing OPTIONS three times will go back to the origi-
nal 10-digit number.
When the desired format of the telephone number is reached,
press
DIAL to dial the displayed number.
Message Error
• The display indicates “ -MESSAGE
ERROR-
” if your unit receives a call
that has an error in the transmis-
sion or reception.
No Data Sent
1 “NO DATA SENT” will be displayed
if there is no caller ID (CID) number
sent from the telephone company
while ringing.
Private Calls
• If the caller has exercised the option to block his number
from being sent, “PRIVATE NUMBER” and his name will
alternately display on the screen when this information
is received.
• If the caller has exercised the option to block his name
from being sent, “PRIVATE NAME” and his telephone
number will be displayed on the screen.
• If the caller has exercised the option to block his name
and number from being sent, then “PRIVATE CALLER”
will be displayed on the screen.

un numéro à 11 chif fres (1 + indicatif rég ional de 3 chif fres
+ numéro de téléphone à 7 c hiffr es).
2.A ppuyez deux f ois sur la touche “ OPTIONS” pour éliminer
l’indicatif régional de 3 ch iffr es et ch anger le numér o af fich é
en numéro de 7 c hiffr es.
3.A ppuyez trois f ois sur la touche “ OPTIONS” pour r etourner
au numéro initial à 10 c hiffr es.
Lorsque le f or mat du numéro de téléphone désiré est
sélectionné, appuy ez sur la touche “ DIAL” pour le composer.
Message d’erreur
L’inscr iption “MESSA GE ERROR ” (m es-
sag e d’er reur) apparaît lor sque vo us
rece vez un appel et qu’une er reur de
transmission est sur ven ue pendant la
réception de l’appel.
Aucune données envoyée
L’inscr iption “NO D ATA SENT ” (aucune
donnée env oyée) appar aîtra si aucune
donnée n’a été envo yée par la
compagnie de téléphone lor sque le
téléphone sonne.
Appels privés
• Si l’appelant a b loqué son numér o avant de v ous contacter,
l’inscription “ PRIV A TE NUMBER ” (n uméro privé) ainsi que
son nom seront inscrits alter nativement à l’af ficha ge .
• Si l’appelant a bloqué son nom a vant de v ous contacter,
l’inscription “ PRIV A TE NA ME ” (nom pr ivé) ainsi que son
numéro de téléphone ser ont inscrits alter nativement à
l’affi ch ag e.
• Si l’appelant a bloqué son numér o et son numéro de
téléphone avant de v ous contacter, l’inscr iption “PRIV AT E
CALL ” (appel pr ivé) sera inscr it à l’affic hag e.
