Care of Clothes
Hang the creased article of clothing on a clothes hanger. Pull the clothing
lightly with one hand, place the appliance over the creased area. Gently
press the appliance against the clothing, and press and release the Shot
of Steam ® button about every 2 seconds as described above. In this way,
steam will penetrate right into the fabric, and not just pass over the surface.
Now move the appliance down over the fabric. When doing so, press the
Shot of Steam ® button as described and at the same time smooth the
material with the clothes brush. After treatment, let the article of clothing cool on the hanger.
Care of Curtains and Upholstery
Creases can be removed from curtains while they are hanging on the
rod; simply follow the procedure described in “Care of Clothes”. The
appearance of upholstery can also be improved by steaming with the
appliance. If the appliance is being used in a horizontal position, best
results are achieved by holding it upright occasionally.
Removal of Lint and Fluff
Lint, threads, fluff and hair can easily be removed with the lint brush. It
has a reversible action for right or left handed use. Remove the lint brush
by lifting up on the arrow-marked tab. Rotate the brush pad. Replace by
inserting small tab in the slot at the top or bottom of the cavity.
Emptying the Water Tank
Remove the plug from the electrical outlet and allow the appliance to cool
down. If you do not intend to use the appliance again soon, it is advisable
to drain the water from the tank.
Storage and Maintenance
The appliance may be stored by means of the hanging loop or placed on a clean, dry shelf. When
travelling it can be packed into the travel pouch provided. The body and front panel (when cool) should
occasionally be wiped with a moist cloth.

environ toutes les deux secondes (voir les
explications ci-dessus). De cette façon, la vapeur pénétrera dans le tissu
au lieu de seulement en effleurer la surface. Maintenant, déplacez l’appareil
vers le bas par-dessus le tissu, tout en appuyant sur le bouton Shot
of Steam
®
d’après les explications et, simulanément, en égalisant le matériel à l’aide de la brosse à
vêtement. Après le traitemtn, laissez refroidir l’article sur le cintre.
Soin des rideaux et de la sellerie
On peut élminer les plis et froissements sur les rideaux alors qu’ils pendent
de la trâine; il suffit d’observer la marche à suivre décrite sous «Soins des
vêtements». On peut améliorer l’apparence de la sellerie en la vaporisant
à l’aide de l’appareil. Si vous utilisez l’appareil horizontalement, vous
obtiendrez les meilleurs résultats en le tenant verticalement à l’occasion.
Élimination de la peluche et de la charpie
On peut facilement enlever la peluche, les fils la charpie et les cheveux à
l’aide de la brosse à peluche. Sopn action réversible conviendra tan aux
gauchers qu’aux droitiers. On peut retirer la brosse à peluche en la à partir
de l’onglet marqué d’une flèche. Faites tourner le tampon de la brosse, puis
remettez-le en place en insérant le petit onglet dans la fente sur le dessus
ou le dessous de la cavité.
Vidange du réservoir à eau
Débranchez la fiche de la prise électrique et laissez refroidir l’appareil.
Si vous n’avez pas l’intention de réutiliser l’appareil tôt par la suite, nous
recommandons de vider le réservoir de son eau.
Entreposage et entretien
On peut entreposer l’appareil en l’accrochant à sa boucle à suspension ou en le déposant sur une
tablette propre et sèche. Lorsque vous l’apportez au cours de vos déplacements, gardez-le dans le
sachet de voyage fourni. À l’occasion, essuyez le corps et le panneau avant de l’appareil (une fois
refroidi) à l’aide d’un chiffon humide.
