Inserting a battery
The following batteries are acceptable.
• LR6 (size AA) alkaline battery*
• HR6 (size AA) Nickel-Metal Hydride battery (recommended for use at
low temperatures)
* When an LR6 (size AA) alkaline battery is used, the battery life is shorter at a low
temperature.

Slide the battery cover.

Insert a battery into the unit with the + side of the battery
facing up.
