LAN The LAN jack is used to connect to Samsung’s server for fi rmware updates.
USB HOST You can use only a USB fl ash drive to perform software upgrades.
HDMI OUT
Using a HDMI cable, connect this HDMI output terminal to the HDMI input terminal on
your TV for the best quality picture or on your Receiver for the best quality sound.
DIGITAL AUDIO OUT
(OPTICAL)
Connects to a Receiver.
AUDIO OUT Connects to the audio input of external equipment using audio cables.
VIDEO OUT Connects the input of external equipment using a video cable.
COMPONENT
VIDEO OUT
Connects to equipment having Component video input.
The USB Host jack is for fi rmware upgrades only. You cannot play audio or video content from a USB device.
Software upgrades using the USB Host jack supports only a USB fl ash drive.
Other USB devices(ex. MP3 player) are not guaranteed to work.
USB fl ash drives with the bulky dimension cannot be inserted when an HDMI cable or a LAN cable is
connected.
