Adjusting the selected equalizer curve
You can store and adjust the equalizer settings
for frequency and level.

Press (SOURCE) to select a source
(radio, CD, MD or AUX).

Press (MENU) .

Press < or , repeatedly to select
“Sound,” then press (ENTER) .

Press < or , repeatedly to select
“EQ7,” then press (ENTER) .

Press < or , repeatedly to select
“Tune,” then press (ENTER) .

Adjust the equalizer curve.
1 Press < or , repeatedly to select
the desired frequency.
Each time you press < or ,, the
frequency changes as follows:
62Hz
y 157Hz y 396Hz y
1000Hz y 2510kHz y 6340Hz y
16000Hz
2 Press M or m repeatedly to adjust
the level, then press (ENTER) .
The level is adjustable in 1 dB steps from
–10 dB to +10 dB.
3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 to adjust all
the frequencies.
The confirmation display appears after
adjuting “16000Hz,” then press (ENTER).

Press < or , to select “YES,” then
press (ENTER) .
“Complete” appears, then the display returns
to the main menu.

Press (MENU) .
The display returns to the normal display.
To restore the factory preset, select “Initialize” in
step 5.
