TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Possible Cause Remedy
Speakers emit a humming
or buzzing noise. The PowerCenter is sharing AC power with
equipment that is not properly grounded. • Connect your PowerCenter
to a dedicated outlet.
• Try unplugging different components from
the PowerCenter one at a time to see if the
noise stops. If a component is discovered
to be improperly grounded, attach a copper
wire from the component’s chassis to the
PowerCenter’s grounding post.
The display unit is not
functioning. There is not a secure connection between
the display unit and the main unit. • Make sure each end of the 4-wire RJ11
phone cable is securely fastened to the
display unit and the main unit.
